And, if you discover your game needs work, consider spending some time at the Arnold Palmer Golf Academy. Course Information

Saddlebrook - Palmer

Saddlebrook - Palmer ~ 0.1 miles (Not Driving Distance)

The par-70 Palmer Course at Saddlebrook plays much longer than it's 6,469 yards. With water on 17 of the 18 holes, players find themselves thinking their way around this Arnold Palmer design. The par-five, fourth hole is a perfect example with water on the right and out of bounds on the left off the tee. The second shot doesn't get any easier with trees lining both sides of the fairway. Finally, an elevated and well-trapped green awaits your third shot as you attempt to reach the green in regulation. Overall, you'll find the Palmer Course to provide an enjoyable day of golf with rolling fair... more info.

Saddlebrook

Saddlebrook ~ 0.1 miles (Not Driving Distance)

The Saddlebrook Course was originally designed by Dean Refram in 1976. Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay redesigned the course when building the Palmer Course in 1986. The Saddlebrook Course provides a longer challenge than the Palmer with tighter, tree-lined fairways. Just like the Palmer, you'll find water on 17 of the 18 holes. The course is well-known for its finishing hole, a tough par four with a difficult second shot over a substantial water hazard to a vvery undulating green. Make four here and it will bring you back for more!... more info.

Lake Jovita Golf And CC - North Course

Lake Jovita Golf And CC - North Course ~ 8.97 miles (Not Driving Distance)

The new North course at Lake Jovita is a tremendous compliment to the original South course. This great new track captures the essence of the fabulous South course in every aspect, and even boasts greater elevation changes, divergent of traditional Florida courses. In fact, on a clear day players can see for nearly five miles to the northeast from the second tee! The new North course is perhaps more fashionable, plays a little longer, and is as popular with club members as the South course. For anyone visiting the greater Tampa Bay area there are now two “must plays” in one conveni... more info.

Southern Hills Plantation

Southern Hills Plantation ~ 18.96 miles (Not Driving Distance)

Southern Hills invites you to preview their distinctively different course, the only private Pete Dye course in the Tampa area. The terrain is unlike that of any other, with elevations of 60' to nearly 250' and yardages from 5205 to 7557. This phenomenal course opened in early 2006 to rave member reviews. Golfweek has named Southern Hills "One of the Top 50 New Courses in the United States" and "One of the Top 100 Residential Courses in the United States". Take advantage of this limited opportunity to play one of Florida's best. It promises to be a golf experience that is not soon forgotten! ... more info.

World Woods Golf Club - Pine Barrens

World Woods Golf Club - Pine Barrens ~ 30.97 miles (Not Driving Distance)

Intimidating. Enjoyable. These two words don't often go hand in hand, but they accurately describe the Pine Barrens course at World Woods. Ranked #26 on Golfweek's list of "America's Best Modern Courses for 2006," this Tom Fazio design has been receiving accolades since it opened in 1991. It's perennially ranked among the nation's top courses by Golf Digest and has been called "Florida's Pine Valley." The course features large fairways framed by expansive waste bunkers and towering pines (hence the comparisons to Pine Valley).... more info.

World Woods Golf Club - Rolling Oaks

World Woods Golf Club - Rolling Oaks ~ 30.97 miles (Not Driving Distance)

Although built right next door, the land occupied by Rolling Oaks provides a stark contrast to that at Pine Barrens. Here you'll find huge oak trees draped with Spanish moss within a landscape reminiscent of Augusta National (including Azaleas!). The course features beautiful rolling fairways and well-defined bunkers with bright white sand. Fazio's mindset must have been completely different when designing both courses, but the end results are nothing less than spectacular. Particularly enjoyable are the great par-three holes at Rolling Oaks.... more info.

The Bayou Club

The Bayou Club ~ 34.84 miles (Not Driving Distance)

As the centerpiece of a gated community, The Bayou Club is a classic Tom Fazio design. Fazio's genius is most evident on the back-to-back par 5's on the front side and back-to-back par 3's on the back. You'll surely be wowed by the entire layout, but the killer 216-yard 16th hole is something extra special. With 419 Bermuda fairways and Tifdwarf greens, you'll also be wowed by course conditions. If that's not enough, the 32,000-sq-ft clubhouse will certainly put you over the top with full-service dining, fitness facilities, swimming and much more!... more info.
