Saddlebrook ~ 0.1 miles (Not Driving Distance)
The Saddlebrook Course was originally designed by Dean Refram in 1976. Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay redesigned the course when building the Palmer Course in 1986. The Saddlebrook Course provides a longer challenge than the Palmer with tighter, tree-lined fairways. Just like the Palmer, you'll find water on 17 of the 18 holes. The course is well-known for its finishing hole, a tough par four with a difficult second shot over a substantial water hazard to a vvery undulating green. Make four here and it will bring you back for more!... more info
Saddlebrook - Palmer ~ 0.1 miles (Not Driving Distance)
The par-70 Palmer Course at Saddlebrook plays much longer than it's 6,469 yards. With water on 17 of the 18 holes, players find themselves thinking their way around this Arnold Palmer design. The par-five, fourth hole is a perfect example with water on the right and out of bounds on the left off the tee. The second shot doesn't get any easier with trees lining both sides of the fairway. Finally, an elevated and well-trapped green awaits your third shot as you attempt to reach the green in regulation. Overall, you'll find the Palmer Course to provide an enjoyable day of golf with rolling fair... more info
Lake Jovita Golf And CC - South Course ~ 8.97 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club, surrounded by rolling hills, is one of Florida's "must-play" venues. Located 30 minutes north of Tampa and only 70 miles from Orlando attractions, the original South course was rated by Golf Digest as one of the "Top 10 New Upscale Courses" in the United States.
The club features two outstanding courses spread out over some of Florida's most unusual terrain. In fact, the 559-yard, par-five 11th hole on the South Course features a 94-foot elevation drop from tee to green — the largest natural elevation change on any cour... more info
World Woods Golf Club - Rolling Oaks ~ 30.97 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Although built right next door, the land occupied by Rolling Oaks provides a stark contrast to that at Pine Barrens. Here you'll find huge oak trees draped with Spanish moss within a landscape reminiscent of Augusta National (including Azaleas!). The course features beautiful rolling fairways and well-defined bunkers with bright white sand. Fazio's mindset must have been completely different when designing both courses, but the end results are nothing less than spectacular. Particularly enjoyable are the great par-three holes at Rolling Oaks.... more info
World Woods Golf Club - Pine Barrens ~ 30.97 miles (Not Driving Distance)
Intimidating. Enjoyable. These two words don't often go hand in hand, but they accurately describe the Pine Barrens course at World Woods. Ranked #26 on Golfweek's list of "America's Best Modern Courses for 2006," this Tom Fazio design has been receiving accolades since it opened in 1991. It's perennially ranked among the nation's top courses by Golf Digest and has been called "Florida's Pine Valley." The course features large fairways framed by expansive waste bunkers and towering pines (hence the comparisons to Pine Valley).... more info
